What is ABA Therapy?
ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy is a scientifically-based therapeutic approach that focuses on understanding and improving behaviors, particularly in individuals with autism. It uses principles of learning theory to help individuals develop new skills, reduce challenging behaviors, and improve overall functioning in different areas of life. ABA is an empirically validated method used to treat children with autism and other disabilities. It has been recommended by the US Surgeon General, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the National Institute for Health.
