ABA/RBT Course Training

Service Description

YOU MUST ATTEND BOTH DAYS AND PASS COURSE ASSESSMENT VIA THE ONLINE LEARNING MODULES TO EARN CERTIFICATE. Duration: 40-Hour RBT training plus Workshop ( In-Person) with Two (2) Consecutive Saturdays commitment with 20-Hour RBT training learning modules. Materials are provided. Cost: $150 (with certificate) This course is advanced training that consists of 40 hours of in-person skills instruction provided by Board Certified Behavior Analysts with over 10 years of clinical and training experience. The focus of the instruction will be on the Registered Behavior Technician Task List published by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Instruction topics include measurement, assessment, skill acquisition, behavior reduction, documentation and reporting, and professional conduct, ethics, and scope of practice. Training will be in-person, highly interactive and experiential, and held in a casual and relaxed setting including in-vivo role play activities. Participants will not only learn terminology, concepts, and methods, but will be continuously engaged in role-playing scenarios to work towards application and skill competency. A small class instructor-to-participant ratio will allow participants to receive individualized attention and ongoing feedback. Participants will also receive practice examinations. IMPORTANT NOTES: Participants are not required to take the Intro to ABA and RBT courses as the entire 40 hour course is covered within 1-2 week span and is in accordance with BACB guidelines. It should be noted the 40 hours of instruction needs to be completed within 180 days. This course will prepare participants to take the Behavior Analyst Certification Board Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) exam but will not guarantee a successful passing of the exam. It will also include a mock competency assessment and study group . We will we conducting the lecture portion and completing the homework portion afterwards. Additionally, those who have completed all other requirements will have the opportunity to complete the RBT assessment at the end of the second day (Saturday). Duration: 40 Hours completed during the week with commitment of Two (2) Consecutive Saturdays plus online learning modules.
